NIA is a gifted performing and recording artist, educator, author + publisher, thought leader, healing arts practitioner, advisor and homeschool mama whose life’s work, art and activism is deeply rooted in the spiritual edification, educational development and total liberation of Black women and children in America and across the diaspora.

A Liberated Black Woman, Known By Many Names…

Whether you know her by the surname Walker, her reclaimed Afrikan surname “Akinyemi” or her Orisa name, Sangodoyin, one thing that is undeniable is that Nia Sadé is a multi-gifted leader. Hailing from Atlanta, GA., with ancestral roots in Oklahoma City, OK and Miami, FL, Nia Sade is known for using her diverse range of skills and experiences, which she uses to serve her community. As an entrepreneur, Nia is the proud owner of The Literary Revolutionary & Co., an educational publishing and consulting company that she established in 2016. Since inception, she has published over 50 books by Black authors globally, empowering voices and stories that deserve to be heard and documenting Black history.

Nia's passion for education led her to teach English Language Arts across different educational settings, including public schools, private schools, and homeschool programs. While she has taught students of all grade levels, she particularly enjoys working with high school-aged individuals, guiding and inspiring them as they navigate their academic, artistic and entrepreneurial journeys.

In addition to her entrepreneurial and educational pursuits, Nia dedicates her time and efforts to making a positive impact in her community. Currently serving as the ATL Leadership Coach for the Young Black Leadership Alliance, she plays a vital role in developing young Black men and women into leaders who will positively impact their peers, families, communities and beyond.

Nia's activism is deeply rooted in liberation work for Black people around the world. She has been involved in community organizing and social justice initiatives through various roles, such as an Educator for Liberated Minds Education & Black Homeschool Expo, Paralegal at the Davis Bozeman Law Firm, Lead Organizer with the Coalition for Justice and Police Accountability, Chairwoman of the Young Adult Council for the NAACP Clayton County Branch, and Youth Coordinator for the National Coalition to Combat Police Terrorism (NCCPT) Georgia.

Notably, Nia has also held leadership positions, including President of the Atlanta Chapter of SisterCare Alliance and Director of Programming. At the young age of 21, she made local history in Georgia by becoming the youngest candidate for a Commissioner's seat representing Clayton County, GA District 3.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Nia's musical talents shine as the lead singer with the Atlanta Soul Band and Fantastic Voyage Band. She also shares her gift of music by leading praise and worship at various churches and spiritual houses worldwide.

With her unwavering dedication to education, activism, entrepreneurship, and music, Nia Sadé continues to inspire and uplift those around her, leaving an indelible mark on the world.
